We are recruiting for a Product Manager for one of the largest education providers worldwide. Our client are responsible for educating over 80,000 learners every year across 150 countries.

Background
We aim to deliver the highest quality training that is focused on practical learning outcomes.

We believe the current training available for data and data science is too theoretical. Instead, we are building a curriculum and suite of educational products that teach practical skills to help solve real-world problems.

We currently offer a range of programmes from corporate short courses, apprenticeships, and BSc and MSc degrees. We are building a team of expert data scientists and brilliant learning designers to collaborate and build market-leading digital content.

As part of the Group there is an opportunity to also work on a broader range of domains from business skills, digital marketing, and software, and as a new team more responsibilities and scope for growth.

Job role

We are looking for an experienced product owner who is a key part of our journey to develop a best-in-class learning platform and improve all aspects of user experience.

Key responsibilities

* Understanding all aspects of user persona, needs and experiences to identify gaps, design strategy and plans to drive new feature developments
* Working with relevant teams such as sales, marketing, faculty and curriculum teams to effectively capture requirements and use cases to feed platform development plan
* Working closely with Product Director to identify, design, prioritise features which maximises return-on-investment and value-add
* Working closely with dev squads to execute the platform development plan in agile, effective and timely fashion
* Where possible, setting up experiments to capture, analyse and measure feature impact and report/present findings

Skills, experience & qualifications required

Essential:

* A proactive individual with an entrepreneurial spirit
* Experience in product management, agile transformation
* Love working with technical people / software developers
* Strong communicator and attention to detail
* Pragmatic and commercial; understand how to extract best RoI
* Passion for driving change in a technology transformation journey

Desirable:

* Basic level of data science skills
* Passion for education and social impact
