Salary : £50000 – £55000/annum bonus and benefits

Global Pharmaceutical Company based in Cambridge are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join the team to provide engineering analysis and design support in the medical sector.

As Senior Mechanical Engineer you will be responsible for managing the development of drug delivery devices, which may include tasks from all stages of device development from user requirement capture and due diligence of vendor activities through to validation, trouble-shooting and complaints investigations. You will need a combination of technical and planning skills as well as the ability to understand the patient and the device whilst balancing project requirements.

The key skills required for the Senior Mechanical Engineer will be:

Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
Previous experience as a Mechanical Engineer.
Experience of using CAD software, preferably Creo.
Engineering calculations e.g. friction, stress analysis, tolerance analysis.
Supplier management.
Writing clear reports, documents and presentations.
Understanding of quality management systems.
Experience within the medical device sector would be advantageous.
