We have an exciting opportunity for a graduate 3D Designer to come and join our award winning, family run business.
3D CAD Designer – The Role:
As our 3D Designer, you will be working directly alongside the Design Manager, processing orders for both staircase renovations and bespoke flights from detailed site surveys, producing both manufacturing and client drawings using SolidWorks.
In addition to this you will:
* Be producing detailed parts lists for installations
* Be producing detailed technical drawings for manufacture
* Be producing client friendly CAD drawings and visuals
* Provide technical support to the design team
* Communicate with customer and suppliers in a professional and friendly manner
3D CAD Designer – What we need from you:
For the right candidate, there is an excellent opportunity for this job to progress into a more senior role combining both design and survey roles.
You will be:
* Competent in using SolidWorks 3D CAD
* An excellent problem solver with a high level of communication skills
* IT literate to a high standard
* Able to work both individually and as part of a team
* Degree qualified in Product / Industrial Design
* Self-motivated with an eye for detail
* Able to display strong technical and presentation skills
