Brightwork are supporting our client in the Central Belt with the recruitment of a Graphic Designer (REMOTE WORKING – EDINBURGH MEETINGS)

This is a permanent role that operates Monday to Friday, 9am till 5.30pm, and offers flexible home-working options – although face-to-face meetings with the Digital Marketing Manager will be required at their site in Edinburgh.

The Graphic Designer will support the Digital Marketing Manager in the planning, creating and management of online marketing campaigns, with a focus on design and creative elements. Our clients marketing team forms part of the wider Business Development team and is focused on three core pillars: brand awareness, lead generation and lead nurturing.

You’ll be tasked with:

The design of creative assets for marketing purposes, such as graphics, banners, imagery and website elements.
Design of material and collateral to support the sales team and wider business, such as prospect/customer presentations, proposals, graphics, logos and templates.
Create and publish LinkedIn posts and manage the social media calendar, whilst gathering positive news stories, insights, and topics from internal and external sources.
Supporting the Digital Marketing Manager with creative direction on various projects, including video, photography, content and animation.
Manage website updates, including imagery and content. CMS training will be provided.
Candidates should have a Graphic design or a design-related qualification/degree, and have experience in using Adobe suite of design tools, including InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop. You’ll be experienced in using and designing content for Microsoft Word and Powerpoint, and have editorial design and layout skills.

It would be advantageous for you to have a basic video editing skills, a basic knowledge of HTML and a good understanding of website and email design – however, these skills are not essential.
