RedCards offer visually engaging and purposeful digital playing card style content that helps people to read less and consume more. The platform allows creators to easily publish their work and delivers it in an attractive and easily consumable way to users that means e-books are not just beautiful but can be read anywhere without losing their impact.
As the Digital Designer, you will generate various styles of work and templates to be seen by hundreds of thousands of users across the world. The digital assets will be mass-market products for the RedCards application that will evolve and grow with the platform, allowing for all kinds of content to be accessible to both creators and consumers.
So, you’ve read up to now, which means that you can do the job and you like the sound of the work environment, but what kind of person do they need?
You will be confident in a wide variety of design styles and able to create strong screen design, including typography, and have a full understanding of visual communication.
You will understand how to create layers, texture and depth to your work.
You will be solution-focused with a positive attitude towards ‘problems’ and have good attention to detail.
You will be adaptable and able to jump into areas of the business that need support.
With an office based in the popular area of Spike Island, you will be offered a generous salary of c.£30,000 (negotiable), a hybrid working style, and the chance to join this venture at an early stage as the team grows quickly.
