Role: AV Engineer – Communication Services

Located: Field Based – Southern England (various locations)

Salary: To £30,000 (DOE), plus Car, Company Bonus and large Company Benefits

Reporting to the Regional Service Manager you will work on the engineering and installation across various UK projects for the Ricoh Communications Services team.

What you will be doing…

Responsible for engineering and installation on-site

Provision of on-site technical assistance including site surveys

Progress reporting to the Project Coordination team on project status

Installation of Audio-Visual hardware in line with specification, including completion of sign off documentation

On-site customer service and liaison with the senior teams

Mentoring and development of local core engineering teams, as required

You will ideally have…

Excellent technical working knowledge of AV products and systems

Strong understanding of digital audio and visual signal transmission and terminology

Excellent understanding of Video Conferencing services Cisco / Polycon / Pexip

Technical working knowledge of (not limited to) MTR, Logitec, Extron, Crestron, Polycom, Kramer, Cisco, LG services and products

Good IP and Networking and security knowledge

Understanding of AV project deployment methodology

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

Proactive approach to work and process

Mentoring skills, team player, with ability to lead and coach

Excellent trouble shooting skills

Where required commission and sign off projects

Driving licence as this is a field-based position
