Position: Digital Designer (Web/UI/UX)

We are a brand and digital agency that creates captivating experiences for world-renowned brands and organisations including Warner Music, The Carlyle Group, The University of Sheffield and British Glass.

We are now looking for an experienced brand & digital designer to join our awesome. team, working on a range of exciting projects across industries for our clients.

This role will allow you to flex your creative skillsets and push boundaries across design, web and digital creations, on a broad range of projects so that no day is ever the same.

We are looking for a digital designer that is looking to design captivating experiences that create an emotional connection between the user and the brand being showcased.

Ideally, you will be a designer that can create work using modern methods that meets industry standards — while also keeping an eye on design trends, bringing new and innovative ideas to the team. The role will require you to produce prototype concepts – user flows, wireframes, design concepts – and take these through to finalised designs that our development team can build.

We like to develop our creative skills — and welcome our crew to challenge the norm and try something new.

You will be working alongside our Creative Director as well as our team of designers, copywriters, web developers, project managers and other creatives — producing design work from concept to finished outcomes in collaboration with others.

Our creative work drives the success of our agency, and your role will play a big part.

Design Experience/Skills Required

– Web Design
– UX & UI Design

Desirable Experience/Design Skills

– Brand Strategy and/or Design
– Graphic Design
– Creative Web Development
– Animation

Minimum Software/Application Experience

· Adobe Creative Suite: Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop
· Prototyping Software such as XD, Figma, InVision

The Essentials

· You'll have at least 2 years' industry experience within a similar agency position(s)

· You'll be experienced in working in a fast-paced environment.

· You’ll be able to showcase your working process on works for clients (via portfolio).

· You'll be required to have experience in communicating your work to clients and your team

· Excellent use of spoken and written English

· Excellent organisational skills

· You’ll have a good understanding of using mixed-media content across your digital designs

· You’ll be able to design web sites from brand guides

· Enjoy talking with clients in a professional manner

· Able to work independently and as part of a team including project managers, designers & creatives, and web developers

· Be self-motivated

· Have a strong passion for design and creativity/innovation

Job Role

· Creative concept development including mood boards, initial design ideas, proposal documents for branding, web & digital briefs

· Produce detailed user journeys and wireframe design for web and digital projects

·  Designing high-standard works from approved design concepts

· Communicating with clients across development and proofing stages

· Produce finalised works for digital design specifications and handover to our web development team

· Supporting client and in-house tasks for marketing and comms plans.

Salary

£22,000-£35,000 (subject to experience)
