Occasional travel as required to our manufacturing bases in the Far East and design inspiration trips or trade shows in other worldwide locations
Blended Office and home-based role with potential travel to UK customers.
The main part of this role is using Creative CAD designs, after being given a brief to produce commercial and innovative designs, being mindful of customer requirements and price points.
The role requires you to attend research trips in the UK and potentially abroad, expensed paid for and clothing perks!
You will be responsible for own research and ongoing trends, carrying out comparative shopping to predict trends
A superb offering for the roles that you will have the opportunity to develop core ranges from start to finish including print design and fabric sourcing specific to individual customers and their requirements.
You will also have key unique input into the appropriate fabrics sourced for the designs and new development ideas.
I do need you to have a basic understanding of close garment construction.
Skills needed…
CAD literate
Proficient with Illustrator and Photoshop packages
Create strong two-way repeatable prints on Ai and PSD platforms
Clothing – close fit design experience
