Adecco are delighted to be working for a large manufacturer who are looking for a Machine & Exterior Design Support Engineer to join the team based in Poole. As a Design Support Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the manufacture of a world-renowned, market-leading product range of yachts.
Responsibilities:
As a Design Support Engineer, you will be primarily involved in the testing of our exterior and machinery systems, heading up customer special installations and assisting with new model introductions. You'll carefully monitor the design and build stages, providing necessary drawing changes and ensuring that these are followed throughout the manufacture of the product. The first build of a new product can always present challenges, so the Design Support Engineer will be on hand to provide technical support to production teams across the manufacturing facilities.
You would be required to read from technical drawings, and you should also have excellent working knowledge of SAP.
