Rubicon's client is currently recruiting for Sewing Machinists to join various clients based in the Poole and Bournemouth areas. The roles will require working within a safe and supportive manufacturing environment benefiting from working within a friendly team and potentially working optional overtime paid at a premium rate.
To be put forward for the roles on offer, you will require a high level of attention to detail and be comfortable working on repetitive tasks for extended periods of time.
As a Sewing Machinist your duties will include, but are not limited to:
Making all or part of a garment or other fabric items
Following instructions for each sewing job
Using a range of machine programs and machines, such as over-locking, hemmers, and bar tackers, to carry out a range of tasks and produce different finishes
Guiding the material through the machine/altering machine settings to suit the type of material
Quality checking
