This is a rare opportunity and a great role for a creative individual with advanced design capabilities and experience of being a brand guardian.

We’re looking for a creative designer to provide maternity cover for our client, starting as soon as possible, until May 2023. Their marketing team is busy and the demands on the design team are many and varied – no two days are the same. You’ll be experienced in the full end to end design process from taking a brief to buying print. You’ll be a great team player, ready to get stuck in.

KEY SKILLS REQUIRED:

* Educated to a degree level in Design or an equivalent qualification and have minimum of 5 years’ industry experience

* Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat

* Good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, including Word and Powerpoint

* Portfolio of previous work

* Video and Motion Graphics experience using Adobe Premier Pro and After Effects

* Creative flair and execution across brand, print and digital projects

* Ability to self-manage and work independently, and self-teach new design-related skills to keep up with industry trends

* An eye for detail and ability to spot potential problems or improvements

* Excellent organisation skills

* Ability to take and interpret briefs from internal team members and clients

* Experience of print design principles, specifications and limitations

* Leadership and line management experience.

DUTIES INCLUDE:

* Design – including but not limited to pitch documents, all literature, website and social media assets and video editing

* Manage the firm’s artwork schedule – ensure work is delivered to a high standard, on time

* Manage the Creative Artworker’s workload, proof work, provide feedback, supervision and training

* Project manage freelancers (where used) through the content production and curation process

* Preserve the firm’s brand identity and ensure all assets are used accurately and kept up to date

* Liaising with suppliers on quotes and print proofs/ visuals

* Assist with general marketing activities and campaigns
