Junior CAD Technician

A busy design agency near Halstead is looking to recruit a Junior CAD Technician to work as part of a team on designated client projects. You will work to client specifications to produce good quality, accurate 2D CAD layouts within required timescales. If you have used AutoCAD at university or college and are now looking for a role using those skills then this could be the ideal opportunity for you….
Duties:
Work within a team to create 2D existing & proposed plans, technical drawings and initial concepts
Support the overall client brief and company deliverables being responsible for the quality and accuracy of your work.
Contribute ideas to the creative process
Understand and apply the client's standard.
Work closely with the line manager to develop skill set
Contribute to the wider team and recommend on how we can plan better/drive efficiencies next time.
Support colleagues with other duties where needed.
Skills & Experience:
AutoCAD, preferred but will consider other software experience
Adobe suite ideal and Microsoft Office Suite essential
Good numeracy and literacy is required
Retail planning experience or background preferred but not essential
Full driving licence essential
Candidates need to be well motivated, good team players with good communication skills and problem solving skills.
Benefits:
Hours 8.30am – 5:00pm Monday to Friday with ½ hour lunch.
20 days holiday plus bank holidays increasing to 25 days with service
