Architectural Technologist / Technician required to join a highly regarded design-led York based Medium sized Chartered Architectural practice.
This practice has organically grown in recent years and now a boast a talented team of 20 which is made up of Architects, Assistants and Technologists, they are regarded as having one of the best portfolio's of project work in the Yorkshire region. As such, they have forged a formidable reputation for designing and delivering notable projects specifically within the High End bespoke Residential and Leisure / Hospitality (hotels) and commercial sectors, the majority of these projects are based in York and London typically up to £10m in value, the projects in London are classed as "Super Prime Residential" with most of the builds and refurbishments being in the Mayfair and Chelsea area. The Hotel projects are of a boutique nature with the focus being on contemporary design and creating the wow factor, hence the need for a designer.
They are now looking for a challenge-hungry Architectural Technologist who is meticulous in their approach to tackling complex construction challenges, they require a professional who wants to work within a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment where they can really showcase their Technical nous and creative side. You will be immediately immersed in a series of projects, typically in the region of £10m plus in value that will require planning & Buildings regs drawings, subsequent technical delivery information and job running on site. Our client are currently in the transitional phase from AutoCAD – REVIT and are 50% through this process, a REVIT proficient Technologist would be ideal, however Technologists with good all round technical capability and proficient CAD skills will also be considered.
Technologists of varying levels of experience are being considered for this role, ideally you have circa 5 years practice experience however experience at the more Junior or senior end of the market will also be considered.

Salary depending on experience / suitability £30,000 – £40,000 plus the following benefits –
