Our client is one of the leading producers of 3D Point of Sale materials in the UK operating from two exceptional manufacturing sites in Corby and Wetherby, it has a reputation for the highest standards of quality and service which has made it a partner supplier for some of the world largest brands.

The Role 

They have a Structural design role available at either their Corby or Wetherby manufacturing sites to support their business growth This is a great opportunity for you to join an established and award winning design team with their blue-chip account base. This opportunity is for an experienced 3D POS structural designer, from lightweight to middleweight level.

Main Duties:

Design high quality 3D POS structures
Draft accurate stock plans and elevations
Develop displays using CAD
Test designs
Produce display specifications
Produce high quality samples and ensure they are delivered
Produce assembly instructions

Desired skills and experience

Proficient in the use of industry standard packaging software, preferably Artios CAD
Experience in designing temporary POS displays considerate of the manufacturing capabilities of the plant, the aspirations of the client and the retailers
Comfortable liaising with production & commercial departments to ensure best practice in design development
Experience in producing display product plans, high quality samples, detailed specifications and ensuring these are delivered to a standard you would be proud of
Ability to use the 3D modelling aspect of the CAD system would be an advantage
Ability to provide exceptional levels of service and following best practice in a demanding fast moving manufacturing environment
Delivering against agreed deadlines and priorities
Excellent attention to detail and high work ethic
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and judgement of communication method applicable to individual circumstances
Experience with the use of Microsoft O?ce software
Experience with Photoshop and Illustrator would be an advantage
Ability to exercise your own initiative, to be open and friendly
