Salary : £28000 – £35000/annum

Are you an experienced Part 2 Architectural Assistant or relatively recently qualified Architect who excels in a design focussed role?

If so, we have here an Architectural Designer opportunity to join a large Leeds City centre based Architectural Practice who require design input and creative flair into a variety of Residential typologies, the schemes range in size and complexity and are typically of a new build nature, compromising a mixture of volume housing and bespoke niche developments.

The practice have established themselves in the North and have various awards for their work predominantly in the commercial, Healthcare and Residential sectors, they employ are mixture of technical & design professionals and have 3 offices nationally. Culturally they offer a rewarding and challenging working environment, the Practice established for many years has a superb management structure which provides a superb learning and development experience.

Key competencies of the Architectural Designer

*Support the Associates and Technical team leaders in the conceptual design stages.

*Design draft housing units which can be used as future design templates.

*Prepare and draft housing layouts using freehand sketch skills and Sketchup.

*Support the Preparation of planning applications packages.

*Solid drawing capabilities to include CAD and REVIT (not essential)

Architectural Designer background

*Either an experienced Part 2 Assistant or Recently Qualified Architect with at least 2 years experience.

*Demonstrable design experience and a flair for creativity.

*Come from an Architectural Practice background.

*Have experience within the Residential sector.

*Keen for career progression.
