Architect
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £32000 – £40000/annum
We are currently seeking an experienced Architect to join an AJ100 accredited practice located in Sheffield, just a 20-minute walk from the Sheffield City Centre.
This RIBA Chartered Practice specialises in high-rise residential projects, such as student accommodation. They currently have over 80 members of staff; combining professional expertise, creativity, and commercial awareness enables the practice to unite architects, master planners, interior designers, and structural engineers.
The multi-skilled, flexible Architecture Company believes that collaborative working is essential to the success of BIM projects, hence their strong work ethic and aim to deliver outstanding buildings – and you could soon be a part of this!
As an Architect, you will be expected to work collaboratively with a motivated and well-informed team of 4 that specialise in Student Accommodation/PSR/BTR – this may include utilising Microsoft Teams at times. Obtaining a good understanding of the Building Regulations and technical knowledge for the preparation of drawings at RIBA Stages 3 – 6 will be an advantage.
The Position: Architect
* Experience in working as an Architect in an Architectural Practice.
* Previous involvement in student accommodation buildings or high-rise buildings would be highly desirable
* Ability to work on your own and lead a project if required
* Technical knowledge – drawings at the RIBA Stages 3 – 6.
* Revit skills is essential
The salary for this position is £32K – £40K (DOE) and a generous benefits package.
