Senior Architectural Technician
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £38000 – £45000/annum
Experienced Architectural Technician / Technologist with strong REVIT capabilities required to join a Multi-Disciplinary Architectural Consultancy in Manchester on a full-time basis.
Due to an influx of workload in the Commercial, Industrial & Retail sectors, the practice are looking to recruit an experienced Contract Architectural REVIT Technician to join their Architectural team that prides itself on producing outstanding projects in both the UK and internationally. Current projects vary in size and value, so a background working on diverse projects in a wide spectrum of sectors would be ideal for this position.
The practice have invested heavily in to implementing and applying BIM systems and REVIT software throughout the office, and are working on a range of projects at BIM Level 2. Thus, it would be highly advantageous for you to have thorough knowledge of BIM processes and have sound working knowledge of REVIT. Initially you will be required to produce detailed construction drawing packages and support the delivery of various projects which are at the Technical delivery stages.
Ideally you will have approximately 5 years post qualification experience for this position, however applicants with at least 2 years of solid REVIT using experience will be looked upon favourably.
The following skills & qualifications would be highly advantageous when applying for this role:
* A degree in Architectural Technology or equivalent
* Architect or Architectural Technician background
* Varied sector experience.
* 5 years' experience at minimum of 2 years REVIT exposure of projects at BIM Level 2
* Keen attention to detail and the ability to produce high quality technical detailing
