Digital 51 are exclusively partnered with a Health tech StartUp who are looking to expand their Product design team to help them scale towards a new round of funding. As a Senior Product designer, you will join a business which is built on improving people’s health, to understand the users and truly be passionate about solving their problems this must be of interest to you!

This business has just implemented a brand-new team and taken on a new Product Manager and team of developers, you will be working with this team to grow the businesses user base and platform. You will be creating and improving designs from beginning to end and working closely with all in house departments to design a more personalised approach to their mobile app.

This is a hands-on role, the team of designers you will be working with care about supporting cross functional teams and are looking for someone who can be part of growing their team in the future. This role can lead you to develop your career into a lead designer in the near future, however if you want to stay hands-on the team is growing, and you will also have the opportunity to do this.

What will your role be focused on?

– Identifying gaps in the Product and company which you believe will impact the future of the business.

– Using your knowledge as a Product designer to help define and implement an inspiring design vision and strategy.

– Creating visually simple design solutions for new features and leading this process from end to end.

– Work with the User Research team and lead smaller research projects to gather insights to inspire the businesses next steps.

What do you need to be successful in this role?

– 5 years UI/UX experience, ideally having worked with Figma or another tool for rapid design, prototyping and validation.

– The ability and proven track record of working autonomously even on complex problems from beginning to end, from problem discovery, iteration, prototyping and user testing.

– Be customer focused to ensure your designs have purpose, are focused on the business strategy and are solving the customer problem.

– Experience running and evaluating small user research projects.
