Senior Design Engineer
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £35000 – £40000/annum 30 Days holiday including BH
Senior Design Engineer required. My client is a leading manufacturer of Production line components for a range of industries including Pharma and food production. They are looking for a Senior Design Engineer to join their team in Rochdale. The role would suit and experienced Design Engineer who is familiar with short lead time, quick turn around projects and Sheet metal Design for manufacture.
Senior Design Engineer Position Overview
Creating sheet metal drawings for manufacture using Autodesk
Modifying existing CAD drawings and updating the database for CAD
Providing estimates to customers for proposed work
Assisting with maintaining and updating design and estimating documentation
Leading and attending regular design meetings
Liaising with customers an colleagues throughout the design, manufacture and installation of the project
Providing detailed general arrangement, layout assembly and fabrication drawings using 3D design
Senior Design Engineer Position Requirements
5+ years' experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer
Previous experience working with Short lead time, Quick turnaround projects
Highly proficient in the use of Autodesk Inventor
Previous experience with Sheet Metal design is highly beneficial
Previous experience working in the food or Pharma industry would be beneficial
Full UK Driving Licence
Based within a commutable distance of Rochdale
Senior Design Engineer Position Remuneration
£35,000 – £40,000 Salary DOE
Overtime available
Company Bonus scheme
39 hours a week, Monday to Thursday 8:00 – 17:00, Friday 8:00 – 13:00
30 Days holiday including Public Holidays
