Salary : £35000 – £38000/annum

Award-winning AJ100 architectural practice seeks a talented Architect with a passion for historic buildings to join on of their specialist project teams based in York, the projects are of a conservation nature and are situated throughout York and across the North East.

This practice has been established for decades and have managed to forge an outstanding reputation as one of the country's leading consultancies. With over 250 talented architects, designers, heritage consultants and surveyors across 14 offices in the UK and overseas, they work on some of the finest buildings from meticulous heritage and conservation schemes to bold contemporary design.

The successful Architect should evidence keen attention to detail and high-quality examples of their work, some previous conservation / heritage experience would be desirable but not essential. The Architect will need to be able to display a can-do attitude, willingness to learn and understanding of our clients projects and culture.

Essential: ARB, RIBA / RICS, AABC

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE (EXPECTATIONS)

Minimum three years' post part III experience within an architectural practice
Experience in repair and retrofit along with technical works package
Condition survey experience
Essential: Proficiency in AutoCAD
Demonstrable knowledge and experience of every RIBA work stage
A strong eye for detail
Well organised and proactive approach to managing work and projects
Team player.Salary £35,000 – £38,000 depending on experience plus generous benefits package.
