We have registered a superb opportunity working as an Event Manager for a Global Events Company within their head office based in Leeds. This is a full-time permanent position suited to candidates with strong experience in Events management, Business to Business relations and budgetary control.
Plan and deliver world-class hybrid conferences.
Secure Venues
International Travel required
Liaising and developing relationships with globally renowned brands
Manage Event Budget
Manage Speakers, F&B, external suppliers, etc.
Report KPI's to managing director
Control standard procedures and checklists for the management and delivery of the event.
Providing assistance where required to the content team who develop programmes, source speakers etc.
Work with the marketing manager to create collaterals for events
Identifying I.T and media requirements
Outsourcing catering suppliers where required
To be considered for this great opportunity, you will have the following skills and experience
Strong project management and organisational skills
Ability to work to project plans across multiple, simultaneous events.
Budgetary control.
Articulate with negotiations, demonstrating credibility and professionalism.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office inc. Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Ability to prioritise and deliver to deadlines.
Able to work effectively as part of a team as well as autonomously.
Good experience of business-to-business event management
Degree qualified.
Desirable but not essential

Candidate would be permitted to take holiday days at the event location pre or post event. I.e travel expenses covered by employer, but additional accommodation expenses not covered.
22 Days holiday (Rising to 25 with service).
