Senior Architectural Technician
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £35000 – £42000/annum
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Architectural Technician to join a dynamic architectural practice in Manchester city centre. As a key, new member of their team, you will be responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of projects and ensuring that all architectural drawings and specifications are of the highest quality.
You will be joining a team to work on a mixture of Residential, Commercial and Rail-sector projects. Please read on for further details.
Key Responsibilities of the Senior Architectural Technician will include:
Collaborate with Architects and various inter-disciplinary teams to develop detailed drawings and specifications for construction projects
Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and gather relevant information
Review and approve technical drawings and documents produced by junior staff
Coordinate with contractors and suppliers to ensure that project specifications are met
Stay current with industry standards and best practices in architectural design and constructionRequirements of the Senior Architectural Technician will include:
Degree qualification preferred. ACIAT or MCIAT also beneficial.
Minimum of 5 years of experience
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other architectural software
Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
