Systems Design Engineer
Job Type : Contract, Full Time
Salary : £42 – £47/hour
Carbon60 are working with a UK defence company who specialise in designing and producing missiles and missile systems on a site based in Stevenage, UK. As a Systems Design Engineer you will work on a project which is developing, building and testing real hardware for a key missile sub-system. The role is to design architecture and develop the technical requirements for a seeker.
Key Responsibilities will include:
Support integration and testing teams to capture test requirements and plans
Flow-down of system requirements to subsystem requirement specifications
Defining algorithms in firmware and software
Development of system-level test sequences
Liaise with subsystem teams to ensure design proposals take into account existing design constraintsSkillset/experience required:
Experienced using DOORS, or other SysML tools
Perform requirement analysis and trade off studies
Demonstrate your systems engineering experience
Develop system architecture models and configuration control
Discuss hardware, firmware and software design constraintsLocation: Stevenage
Duration: Initial 12-month Contract
Salary: £40 – £47 PAYE Bracket – £55 – £60 per hour Umbrella Bracket
