Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

Salary : £50000 – £60000/annum Bonus

The role;
You'll be designing mechanical components and systems for both new bespoke and retro fit machinery in Solidworks based from their workshop in Bedford. You'll be working closely with the electrical design engineers, build technicians and service engineers to assist with the assembly of the components you're designing for the machines, so you'll get chance to get hands on and see the finished products in action. The design will entail 3D models, 2D drawings and layouts for pipework and cables including pneumatics, but don't worry you will receive training to get you up to speed with the intricacies of their products. You'll also have full support of the engineering manager, who is hands on himself and looks after the electrical design requirements.

What's required;
Quite simply previous mechanical Machinery Design experience and a practical/hands on understanding of how something is bolted together! The pneumatic aspect can be supported with if required.
