Pay: £11.78 p/h 

Hours: 8am – 4:30pm

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Painter/Sprayer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing units for spraying/painting, ensuring high-quality finishes, and maintaining a safe and clean working environment.

As a Painter/Sprayer, you will be expected to perform tasks such as orbital sanding, T-wash application prior to spraying, selecting and mixing spraying liquids, and expertly applying each layer to achieve a smooth finish. Additionally, you will replace all external decals, maintain spray booth cleanliness, and clean and maintain spraying equipment.

Safety is paramount in this role, and you will be required to ensure overall safety within the spraying booth, including correct storage of all COSHH items and proper disposal of waste.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare units for spraying/painting, including surface preparation such as orbital sanding and T-wash application.
Select and mix spraying liquids according to specifications.
Expertly spray each layer to achieve a smooth finish, paying close attention to detail.
Replace all external decals accurately and efficiently.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the spray booth to ensure optimal working conditions.
Clean and maintain spraying equipment to ensure its proper functioning.
Ensure overall safety within the spraying booth, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
Properly store all COSHH items and ensure correct disposal of waste materials.
Qualifications and Skills:

Proven experience as a spray painter or similar role.
Proficiency in orbital sanding techniques and T-wash application.
Ability to select and mix spraying liquids accurately.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to achieving high-quality finishes.
Knowledge of safety procedures and practices within a spraying booth environment.
Excellent organizational skills to maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the work area.
Effective communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
Understanding of COSHH regulations and guidelines for waste disposal.
