Creative Artworker / Graphic Designer

Salary : £28000 – £38000/annum
Our client is a leading POS business with an impressive track record of designing, creating, installing and supporting POS programmes in the cosmetics, beverage, consumer electronics and FMCG sectors. They are looking for a Middleweight Creative Artworker / Graphic Designer to join their dynamic team to work on artwork for POS Signage for colour cosmetics across the UK and Europe.
This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in an end-to-end service; from interrogating the client brief to producing creative solutions that are informed by retail insight. They are looking for someone who is able to fulfil the client’s brief, with one of the challenges being how to fit everything that the client wants in the space available! You will be responsible for taking the brief from the client (or via the Account Manager) and then taking this all the way through to print. As this is a client facing role, you will also have the opportunity to be involved in client meetings. This is a hybrid role, with the option to work up to 3 days per week from home.

Excellent communication skills.
Personable, with good attention to detail.
Collaborative team player.
Able to work under pressure and use own initiative.
Previous experience as a Creative Artworker or Graphic Designer in the POS / Print / Manufacturing industry.
Computer literate – Microsoft Office.
Proficiency in graphic design software – Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Excel is essential.
Solid understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout.
Strong time management and multitasking abilities to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
