Pay – £140.86 – £215 (depending on experience)

Hours – Full time 8am – 3.30PM
About the role:
Supply Desk is collaborating with a Secondary School in Portsmouth to fill a Full-Time Design Technology Teacher position starting from March 2024. The role involves supporting students in Key Stage 3 and 4, teaching all aspects of Design Technology/DT with dedicated time for planning and marking. We are looking for a candidate with excellent subject knowledge, strong classroom management skills, and a positive approach to teaching and building relationships. This role is suitable for an experienced DT teacher seeking a long-term contract or an ECT for Design Technology looking for a position in a supportive department. The school is open to considering unqualified DT teachers with relevant experience in Secondary Schools.

The ideal candidate will:

Be confident and adaptable to different environments
Have strong classroom management skills
Be able to deliver lessons in a fun and engaging way that students can relate
· Current valid DBS or the willingness to obtain one
You will be required to work confidently with Key Stage 3-5 pupils.
