Full Time / Perm – Hybrid role – 4 days in the office/1 day per week wfh
An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a Jersey Junior Womenswear Designer with a leading high street supplier, working within the design team to help take them to the next level! Designing across trend-led accounts for women's Jersey Multi-Product: Leisure/Activewear/Casual/Dresses. Lovely team with great development opportunities.
Job Description:
* We are looking for a Junior Womenswear Designer with a strong fashion handwriting to join the team
* The role will be working across cut and sew focusing on: Jersey Multi-Product – Leisure/Activewear/Casual/Dresses
* Working within the design team, supporting the Senior Designer, creating initial ranges
* Creation of spec sheets to send to sample rooms
* Must have an excellent knowledge of trends
* Should be able to translate trends into commercial, exciting garments
* Good knowledge of fabric and trims
* Be a great team player
* Excellent CAD, Photoshop and Illustrator skills
* Great training and career development
