Key Responsibilities:
Lead the development and delivery of engaging Design and Technology lessons, fostering creativity and problem-solving skills.
Create a dynamic and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation, collaboration, and excellence.
Assess and provide constructive feedback on student projects, guiding their technical and creative development.
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience, driving excellence in DT education.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is desirable, or a relevant qualification in Design and Technology.
Proven experience teaching Design and Technology is essential.
Proficiency in a range of DT disciplines, including woodworking, metalworking, and electronics.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of a dynamic educational environment.
Location and Duration:
The position is based in Brighton and involves teaching responsibilities for at least 4 days a week. The role is available for an immediate start, with flexibility to accommodate the right candidate's schedule.
