We are recruiting for a young and exciting business in Suffolk who are seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer.

KEY DUTIES
Lead mechanical design projects to create bespoke special purpose packaging production machines
Work shoulder-to-shoulder with Electrical & Control Engineers to realize their solutions
Create detailed tolerance engineering drawings of components to be sent out for manufacture
Analysis and troubleshoot prototype machine designs
Research new methods, practices, and materials to drive innovation within the team
CRITERIA
Degree level qualification in Mechanical Engineering / equivalent
Minimum 10 years’ experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer
Able to demonstrate complex special purpose machine design / concept to production
Excellent working knowledge of SolidWorks
Understanding of Finite Element Analysis
