A independent highways & transport planning consultancy are looking for a Civil CAD Technician to join them in their Cambridge office.
This consultancy work on public and private sector projects.
You will have the opportunity to network with peers and personnel from all areas of the business during initiatives such as graduate networking events and company social events.
Role/Responsibilities & Experience :
Collecting and organising data and information.
Providing administrative support as required by senior staff.
Preparing figures and preliminary design drawings to support our transport planning teams.
Preparing detail design drawing packages including, drainage and level design, to support S278 and S38 applications.
Using AutoCAD, AutoTRACK, Site 3D, and PDS Sign.
An understanding and experience preparing designs using the DMRB, MfS, TSM, TSRGD and local authority design guidance.
Assisting with technical work, paying careful attention to output and self-checking.
Supporting more senior staff as required and a good team player.
Behaving positively, industriously, and ethically in all ways and able to self-motivate, the role could lead to hybrid office/home working dependant on experience.
Communicating well in all areas, using MS Teams and E-mail, and having good inter-personal skills.
