My client are a well established business who offer a complete signage and large format printing solution including installation across the UK, specialising in the house building market.

The Role

They are looking for an experienced Installations Manager to oversee and manage the end-to-end process of fabrication and installation of their signage products. The role will ensure that signage is manufactured to the highest standard and that installations meet strict deadlines along with maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

Main responsibilities:

The successful candidate will manage and oversee all aspects of the installation and Fabrication/Sign Making department:

* Working closely with the Production manager and overseeing the fabrication team to ensure signage is manufactured to the highest standard

* Leading and inspiring a team of Sign Makers and Installers, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure successful project delivery

* Conducting site surveys and providing installation services on occasions

* Planning and coordinating with account handlers, project managers and other department heads for seamless operations

* Executing all aspects of signage installations including scheduling, resource allocation, and logistics

* Monitor and manage stock levels, timesheets, staff rotas, and vehicle maintenance

* Contacting sites prior to installation visits and arrange access equipment

* Act as a primary point of contact for clients during installations, addressing any concerns, and ensuring customer satisfaction

* Writing and implement Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS)

* Enforcing and promoting adherence to safety protocols and regulations during installations to create a secure working environment for the team

* Address and resolve any issues with installation teams, maintaining high standards of quality

* Audit work carried out by installers and sub-contractors

Requirements:

The successful candidate will ideally have:

* Proven experience in project management within the signage industry

* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team

* In-depth knowledge of signage installation techniques and best practices

* In-depth knowledge of Sign Making

* Ability to work with technical and temporary works drawings

* Excellent organizational and time-management skills

* Effective communication and interpersonal abilities

* Good motivation skills and leads by example

* Exceptional attention to detail

* Able to 'think outside of the box' as and when needed

* Driving Licence, CAT & Genny qualified, PASMA, CSCS & IPAF
