Senior Architectural Technologist

Senior Architectural Technician / Technologist required to join a large AJ100 Multi-Disciplinary Architectural & Engineering Consultancy based in Sheffield to support the project delivery of various large scale student accommodation projects commencing in early 2024.
Our client established over 150 years ago now employ over 80 highly skilled and career motivated staff who all contribute to the delivery of a multitude of design led Commissions predominantly across their core markets which are Retail, Commercial Workplace, Mixed Use Residential, Living Sector and Leisure Projects.
Based in a recently modernised contemporary studio in Sheffield, a friendly and supportive environment awaits with no glass ceiling for those keen to climb the ladder. This is also quite a rare opportunity for those who are looking at advancing their REVIT capabilities, whilst our client are keen for a REVIT proficient candidate, exceptions will be made for the right individual who is keen to learn, support and training will be provided so candidates with a basic – intermediate knowledge of the software will be quickly up to speed.
They now require a talented Senior level Architectural Technologist to work on the technical delivery stages of various Student Accommodation schemes across the UK on behalf of one of their key clients who they have partnered with for many years. These projects are large scale so we are looking for an individual who has previous job running experience and the ability to support / manage to project through to client handover. These schemes are being designed using BIM with Autodesk REVIT the software being used to produce the design concepts so previous experience of using and delivering schemes using REVIT is required alongside solid AutoCAD capabilities. REVIT training will be provided via their in-house BIM academy programme.
Senior Architectural Technician/Technologist Requirements:
-Degree or HNC qualified Architectural Technologist / Technician.
-Previous experience of working within an Architectural Practice / Consultancy background.
-Minimum 5-10 years post qualification experience.
-Revit & AutoCAD experience essential. Knowledge of working on a shared model.
-Previous Residential and larger scale development experience within your portfolio.
-Ability to work as part of a Project Delivery team consisting of a 3-4 fellow colleagues.
-Good knowledge of the Building Regulations and technical knowledge for the preparation of drawings at RIBA Stages 3 – 6.
-Job running and solid client facing skills, you will be given the opportunity build a close relationship
Salary depending on experience £40,000 – £45,000 per annum + Generous Benefits package / flexible working hours
