Knowledge Hub coordinator: video editing and graphic design

** Please see agency note at the end on tips for success **

The opportunity is to have a global brand on your CV, learn some great skills and show your creativity.

The client and team

Our client has golden arches. Right in the centre of the company is a Knowledge Hub that hosts a 'library' of materials including videos, and documents, and specific content, for international technology teams. The hub gives users and deployment teams access to 'how to information' so they can easily understand the new tech being implemented. The hub is proactive and communicates to the global tech teams through Newsletters and Webinars.

The role

As knowledge hub coordinator you will contribute your creativity and enthusiasm to the team. You will make visually appealing and compelling documents, and create and edit videos that engage as they educate. Our client would like someone who has good creative design skills, particularly in video editing and creation, together with the wherewithal to put together great PowerPoint decks, and contribute to Newsletters via Poppulo.

The role would also include other ad hoc jobs to do with uploading content etc.

The breadth of the role is below, key skills we’re looking for are video editing and Canva proficiency.

1-3 years experience. We read every CV.

Video Editing Proficiency:

Experienced in video editing, preferably with proficiency in tools such as Camtasia, Adobe Premiere Pro/After Effects, or DaVinci Resolve. Able to create high-standard corporate video templates from scratch, storyboard videos, and propose creative ideas.

Graphic Design Skills:

Skilled in graphic design, utilizing basic tools like Canva, and creating assets from scratch using Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop.

Email Communication:

Professional PowerPoint Presentations:

Proficient in designing and creating professional, brand-aligned PowerPoint presentations. Develops assets that can be used consistently throughout the team.

Stakeholder Communication:

Skilled in communicating with stakeholders, maintaining positive relationships with product owners to ensure the team has the most up-to-date information.

Working with technical leads to organise and set up trainings and workshops for market teams.

Proficient in working with SharePoint, capable of managing and optimizing the SharePoint site for effective knowledge sharing. This involves tasks such as creating new category pages and handling troubleshooting.

* Personality is someone who can function well in a team but manage their own work and doesn’t need constant supervision.

* This role is two days a week in Shoreditch, but may on occasion require three days a week

* This is a full time temporary position for a year, perhaps longer.

The agency

RainbowGiles is operating in the capacity of a recruitment agency for this role, selecting candidates against our client’s very strict criteria. This means that if your CV does not meet the criteria we won’t be able to progress. Don’t take it personally; (be grateful not to have your time wasted) you’ll be perfect for the right role.

If you’ve got some creativity and video-editing skills – give this a go; we’ll consider most levels around 1-3 year’s experience.

Tips for success

A CV tailored for the role is always a best bet; it shows interest and you're able to demonstrate your skills against the client’s wish-list (we're not expecting someone to be able to do it all). Spell check (obviously), and don't over design so that we're struggling to see your actual CV. Be proud of yourself as you type, and don't panic: this isn't about someone being better than you – it's about aptness – like choosing potatoes over oranges – I love them, but an orange is never gonna cut it on shepherd's pie!

All CVs that are not successful will be securely deleted at the conclusion of this assignment
