Manufacturing Engineer
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £55000/annum
I have partnered with an industry-leading manufacturer of custom-branded clothing, known for their high-quality products and renowned clientele including Google, Skype, David Lloyd, and Selfridges. Responsibilities:
As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in their manufacturing operations. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Maintaining and servicing machinery on-site, with a strong emphasis on electrical expertise.
Identifying and resolving root causes of issues, focusing on implementing robust, long-lasting solutions (100 year fix).
Working with a continuous improvement mindset to drive operational efficiency and performance to its peak.
Utilizing and optimizing a TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) system to enhance machine reliability and performance.
Mentoring and coaching junior members of the team to develop their skills and knowledge.Requirements:
Strong background in electrical engineering, with proficiency in maintaining and troubleshooting industrial machinery.
Proven experience with a TPM system, demonstrating expertise in maximizing equipment uptime and efficiency.
Previous experience mentoring or coaching junior team members, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented work environment.
A commitment to quality and a track record of implementing long-term solutions.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a methodical approach to root cause analysis.
Adaptable and able to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
It's not essential but experience of working in printing or the fashion & textiles industry would be beneficial.
