Job Overview
In this pivotal role as an Artworker, you'll be at the creative heart of our Production Studio, where your expertise will be instrumental in translating conceptual ideas into visually compelling and polished outputs.
Collaboration is key in this role, as you'll work closely with our Client Services team to dissect and understand client briefs, ensuring that your creations not only meet but surpass their expectations. Your proficiency as a Mac Operator and mastery of Adobe Creative Suite will be indispensable, enabling you to execute projects with precision and finesse.
The fast-paced nature of the industry means that responsiveness and adaptability are crucial. You'll need to understand the immediate commercial imperatives that come with the role, adapting swiftly to the ever-evolving needs of the business.
Job Responsibilities
* Produce precise artwork that upholds our stringent quality standards and aligns with brand guidelines
* Maintain open lines of communication with Client Services and the wider studio to guarantee adherence to established standards and timelines
* Strive for maximum profitability on every project
* Champion accuracy, meticulous attention to detail, and precision across all deliverables
* Ensure artwork remains consistently accurate and in compliance with brand specifications
* Recognize and respond to the commercial urgency and demands of the role within the company
* Perpetually pursue excellence, remaining receptive to the dynamic studio environment
* Demonstrate a profound understanding of print and print production
* Exhibit proficient skills in Adobe Creative Suite
* Provide coverage and undertake additional responsibilities in the absence of the Studio Manager
* You are responsible for completing a submitting your timesheets daily via Synergist
* Keep administration systems updated as necessary and promote a culture of organisational tidiness
* At all times comply with the company policies, procedures, and instructions
* You will be expected to carry out any other duties that may reasonably be required in line with your main duties
Person Specification
Qualifications:
* HND/Degree in Design, Visual Arts, or relevant field preferred
* Demonstrable portfolio of solid work
Experience:
* Prior experience in a similar role is imperative
* Previous involvement with a Marketing Agency is highly advantageous
* Familiarity with working in a Production Studio environment is a plus
* Proven experience in managing tight deadlines
* Experience in working within brand guidelines is preferred
Knowledge and Skills:
* Proficiency in Mac operating systems
* Profound proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite
* Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Outlook and Teams
* Ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives and goals
