Top job for a Senior Architect to lead on the design and delivery of schools projects.
Our client is a construction consultancy with multiple offices across the UK. Their in-house architectural department is looking to hire a Senior Architect to join them in designing and delivering a range of educational projects. Future projects will also include housing developments and innovative care facilities, so there will be some long-term variety. However, right now the focus is schools design so applicants would require experience in this sector, working to UK design guides and regulations.
If successful, you will get exposure to liaising with clients and stakeholders, developing front-end design proposals and then carrying them forward to pre-planning. Effectively working client-side, your focus will then evolve more towards reviewing contractor proposals and design management, providing good ownership and development opportunities. As the work is being delivered in BIM, previous experience of working with revit will be essential, and further training is available too.
