Job Overview:

Axon Moore are delighted to be engaged an iconic Manchester brand who are looking for a high calibre, Head of FP&A to join in a crucial role as the embark on a new season of change and development.

Working directly with the Finance Director, this role will play an essential part in the ongoing development of finance, focusing on process improvement, system change, commercial reporting and controls. It is essential for this person to have strong communication and partnering skills, and experience working in a fast-moving environment where it is imperative to have a proactive attitude.

Salary: £60,000-£70,000

Location: Central Manchester + hybrid working

Main Duties:

Responsible for achieving and maintaining the management reporting and engaging with budget holders.
Delivering an effective business partnering function with regular engagement with key budget holders.
Working with divisional heads to implement business intelligence solutions.
Utilising a data rich environment to build key reports, dashboard and KPIs to provide insight into business performance.
Work with divisional heads to maximise ROI.
Work closely with the Commercial team to drive performance of revenue generating activities.
Partner with the Finance Director to engage external stakeholders in the development of the strategy plan.
Drive organisational strategy, through development of the four-year business plan.
Act as the financial lead in developing the timetable and approach to the annual financial planning cycle.
Support the FD in driving engagement with the financial planning process across the organisation.

Person Specification:

Qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA).
Strong commercial acumen with proven experience around budgeting and finance.
Strong excel skills – Pivot tables, lookups, and excellent data analytics.
Confident communicator able to communicate financial information to senior management.
