About the Company
My client is a well-established sign company, based in Plymouth but working nationwide. They require a sign installation operative to work as the lead part of their skilled crew. This role will involve some nights away, overtime, and very occasional weekend work.
Job Summary
Travel to client sites within the UK.
Completing site surveys – taking measurements and considering access and egress as well as suitable installation methods.
Removal of existing signage in a safe and considerate manner.
Use a selection of hand and power tools.
Work at height using a variety of scaffold and ladder types (training given if required).
Fit signage as instructed.
Apply graphics and vinyls as required.
Carry out site maintenance work on existing signs.
Follow Health & Safety guidance to ensure your safety, your colleagues, and members of the public at all times.
Minimum Experience:
Signage installation experience – 3+ years
Driving MWB/LWB vans Licence/Certification
Full UK Driving Licence
CSCS Card (preferred but not essential)
Excellent attention to detail and able to follow a given brief
Flexible approach to problem solving skills
Customer and quality orientated
Self-motivated, organised, and confident
Able to work within a team and on own initiative
Comfortable with manual labour and working at heights
