Empowering Learning are currently looking for a Learning Support Assistant to work within a school based in Crystal Palace. We are looking for an outstanding and experienced Learning Support Assistants, who are dedicated to supporting children with various special needs of behaviour. Our school support children with various learning abilities, such as challenging behaviour, EBD and SEMH, so experience of working with a range of special needs would be desirable. We would be looking for a dynamic Learning Support Assistant who can work across various age groups within Secondary school age.
Job Responsibilities
Supporting pupils in the classroom on a 1:1 basis
Supervising children in & out of the classroom
Encourage and support the pupils learning
Helping the teacher prepare for lessons and plan activities

Job Requirements
Experience of working as a Learning Support Assistant/Classroom Assistant
Experience supporting children with learning difficulties
Strong communication skills
Valid DBS registered with the online update service or be willing to apply for a new one
Available 5 days a week and able to commit
