Print Finisher
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £23000/annum
Due to continued growth, our client situated in Stretford are looking for a Print Finisher to join their team.
Day to day responsibilities:
Day-to-day general
Operating a wide range of digital print equipment
Establish tasks set on a daily basis and meeting deadlines as given by the Head of production
Read and interpret drawings and production specifications
Clean and maintain print machinery
Match colours for print jobs are per drawings provided
Complete Graphic finishing assigned tasks
Problem solving where possible, recording issues, and escalating unresolved issues promptly and appropriately
Meet production quality and output levels and make sure they are optimised at all times
Be responsible for the Quality check all finished products before wrapping and packing
Maintain a safe and organised working environment by following company procedures and wearing appropriate PPE equipment
Maximising the output of the machines to make sure there's no backlog.
When required undertake other duties within Stores, Warehouse or Despatch, or other site areas, when requested.
Work with the coordination team to ensure goods are dispatched in a timely manner
Actively work as part of the Production team Previous experience must include:
Previous experience in a print operative role
Previous experience working within a Graphic finishing department
Good communication skills
Good IT knowledge (including Microsoft/Google office products)
Good people skills
Flexibility
Problem solving
Strong organisational skills
Punctuality This position is working days Monday to Friday with the option of weekend work
depending on the workload. You may also be required to work off site on occasions
