Architectural Technologist
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £32000 – £38000/annum
Experienced Architectural Technologist with approximately 3-6 years' experience required to join an award winning and innovative medium sized Architectural Practice based in Headingley to support the design delivery of a diverse range of Residential Architecture projects.
Following continued growth and success since its establishment over 25 years ago they continue to flourish and have a multitude of exciting Design lead commissions across their long standing core markets. Their immediate demands is for someone to join the Residential team to support the design and delivery of a wide variety of living sector projects, these are – New Build Housing, Student Accommodation, Retired Living, Bespoke builds and conversions.
Historically the practice has established solid roots throughout Yorkshire and the rest of the UK, with a rich history of working on some highly notable commissions bringing in countless awards predominantly across the Residential, Education and Leisure sectors.
Due to the diverse range of repeat clients across a variety of sectors our client maintains a steady and extremely reliable work stream enabling them to keep busy through any potentiality turbulent times in the future, they are an incredibly robust business with a forwards pipeline of project work right through until 2025!
The successful Architectural Technologist applicant will be –
·Architectural Technology degree qualified (at 2:1 grade or above) or equivalent qualification.
.Some previous work experience within a UK based Architectural Practice, ideally between 3-6 years. More of less will be considered.
·Software proficiency in AutoCAD, REVIT would be advantageous.
.Ability to produce detailed construction drawing packages
·A good understanding of the construction industry and UK Building & Planning regulations.
·Excellent numeracy and communication skills – written and verbal.
·Good eye for design and detailing.
.Keen for continual professional development.
A Salary depending on experience between £32,000 – £38,000 per annum depending upon experience and suitability,
