Our client, A Property Consultancy are seeking an Electrical Engineer based in Stockport. They are property experts Project Management, Construction, Surveying and Architectural Services for your new-build or refurbishment, including bid preparation to secure all types of Education funding.

This role will include all aspects of an electrical engineering. You must be able to carry out condition surveys, design full systems, calculations to accommodate designs and budget estimates. You will have the passion and drive to manage projects in accordance with the client's brief and programme, developing good business and customer relations. Your work will range from conceptual through to detailed design, preparing tender documentation and monitoring of works on-site.

Electrical Engineer Position Overview

Electrical Engineer position based in Stockport
Carry out condition surveys, design full systems, calculations to accommodate designs and budget estimates
Working on Commercial, Educational and housing projects
Work alongside clients to develop their strategies and plans
Design and deliver a range of schemes within different sectors with contracts ranging from 100k – 3 million from single projects to large-scale programmes of work we deliver against our client's objectives

Electrical Engineer Position Requirements

Experience in a similar role as an Electrical Engineer
Educated to at least degree level in electrical engineering or building services engineering.
Chartered and a member of a relevant body (working towards this will be considered).
Experience in the management of building services projects from concept through to handover.
Knowledge and experience of using AutoCAD is essential.
Proven ability to develop designs conscious of energy conservation, sustainability and with a knowledge basis of renewable technologies.
Knowledge of mechanical systems would be advantageous but not necessary.
Knowledge and experience of working in the education sector would be advantageous
