Industrial Sewing Machinist
Job Type : Temporary, Full Time
Salary : £10.42/hour
JP Recruitment are hiring! We are looking for multiple Industrial Sewing Machinists to work at our clients site in Hyde.
You will ensure that products and services are produced efficiently; that they are of the right quality, quantity, and cost; and that they are produced and dispatched on time, to the satisfaction of the customer and in line with company expectations.
Preferred Experience
Experience working in a busy manufacturing environment. Experience using Industrial Sewing Machines.
Key Duties
Various duties throughout the manufacturing section including:
· Cutting, sewing and unpicking various products to production specifications/instructions
· Packing of various products for dispatch
· Ensuring manufacture of the products is cost effective with minimal waste generated.
· Completing the necessary paperwork /records
· Maintaining the quality standards agreed.
· During maintenance ensure that procedures are carefully followed accurately.
· Adhere to the Company’s policies and procedures detailed in the Employees Handbook.
· Work within a team environment and to treat other work colleagues with dignity and respect.
· Carry out any other responsibilities as reasonably requested by your manager.
Hours of Work
* 8am – 4:30pm Monday –Thursday
* 8am – 4pm Fridays
Hourly Rate
* £10.42 to start
