We have a superb opportunity for a Merchandiser working for a High Street Fashion retailer. This is a permanent role based out of a modern Head-office location in the Wakefield area. We are looking for candidates with Merchandising experience who are available to start at short notice.
As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for the following.
Creating Visual Merchandising guidelines for new product launches and ranges
Ensuring the store standards and qualities are met
Liaise with store team to give clear information and guides on product pushes
Create store launch packs for new product ranges/ trends
Attend and organise seasonal kick off, Selection and Sign Off meetings with SMT
Attending store visits on a frequent basis
Monitoring performance and trends of stock
Compiling reports for senior management teams
Working closely with the buying department and regional and store managers to deliver a seamless service
Creating artwork files for store windows, POS and other store print materials
Qualifications
Experience and skill set required:
1-2 Years' experience within Merchandising
Graphic design skills and experience in design software; illustrator and InDesign is required
Excellent communication skills
History of delivering projects with retailers
Strong attention to detail, ideally from an inventory / stock coordination background
Highly organised and meticulous with detail
Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and V-lookups
Graduate in Fashion design, is ideal but not essential
