Packaging Designer
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £28000 – £32000/annum
Cloud 9 are working with a global leader in luxury packaging solutions who are looking to appoint a Graphic Designer based in the Midlands. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with an employee and customer focused company who are passionate about what they do. Your role will be to offer support and assist in identifying and creating design solutions and also support the creative team across a large range of media platforms. Main Responsibilities
* Create innovative designs to be used across a range of packaging/media platforms.
* Create mock-ups and mood boards ready for presentation.
* Be proactive in identifying design solutions.
* Provide artistic support to sales and management.
* Ensure all set project targets are met in a timely manner without compromising on quality.
* Check artwork diligently, problem-solving and amending as appropriate.
* Ensure customer needs/briefs are understood, met and exceeded.
* Work as a team to meet agreed objectives and maximise group success.
* Comply with company and brand guidelines, procedures and policies.
The Person
* You will have at least 5 years' experience in a similar field.
* Familiar with B2B marketing.
* An understanding of packaging design, advantageous.
* A background in structural design or packaging technology would be advantageous.
* Be fully knowledgeable in Creative Cloud.
* Have excellent knowledge of packaging production, specs etc.
* Have excellent computer skills with good understanding of all PC Software and print production.
* Have excellent numeracy and written skills.
* Have strong communication skills; ability to communicate confidently and clearly on all levels.
* Have good presentation skills.
* A good supportive team player with a willingness to help outside of their role.
* Personable, ability to establish and maintain good relationships.
* Customer focused.
* Good time management and organisational skills.
* Meticulous with an eye for detail and efficient in problem solving.
Remuneration
You will receive a salary of up to £30k + DOE.
