As the demand for our expertise continues to grow, we now have an opportunity for an experienced Senior Architect to join our 40+ strong skilled Architectural team.
We champion flexible, part time and hybrid working with meetings at our idyllic headquarters based in the grounds of Blenheim Palace – Oxford.

We are an AJ100 architecture practice and a significant part of a multi-disciplinary design practice. Our design portfolio is world class, and we are currently working on several exciting new projects including F1 Teams’ headquarters, advanced manufacturing, science, education, defence and workplace projects which results in a diverse, growing, and exciting practice.
We work across the UK and internationally, where we both design and deliver a range of projects in terms of scale and sector.

The Senior Architect Opportunity:
Our technical facilities portfolio is world class, and we have recently secured a number of exciting new projects. Within the Ridge architecture team we have a wealth of experience at designing manufacturing and F1 Team facilities, education buildings, hotels, leisure and stadia buildings, offices and private one-off commissions which results in a diverse and exciting practice.
Your mission will be to ensure the highest design quality throughout all projects, and you’ll be able to work efficiently & diligently to meet deadlines whilst maintaining strong attention to detail and high standards of work. Your talent, creativity and excellent communication skills will create wide scope for personal and career development in a dynamic and growing business.
Within this opportunity, you will be exposed to a diverse range of interesting sectors and cultures.
About you:
+ Design Leadership skills, capable of leading multidisciplinary design teams
+ Strong design and technical detailing skills – Revit experience is essential
+ Advanced 3D capabilities
+ Ability to express ideas effectively – orally, graphically, and in writing
+ Experience in preparing and presenting feasibility reports and design proposals
+ Knowledge of UK best practice standards
+ Experience of working on large scale technical facilities is desirable but not essential.
