We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Artist or Painter to join an expanding team of Scenic artists based in a Bradford Workshop.
We are keen to speak to an experienced artist with experience in theatre, tv, events & concert touring carpentry work. If you are a talented artist from a different field, with an interest in moving into this sector we would like to hear from you too.
Key Responsibilities
* The job will be based at our workshop in Bradford, but on occasion site work will be available during the installing in theatres, venues, cruise ships, festivals.
* Working alongside the artistry team to complete scenic elements to a very high standard finish, working closely with industry leading designers to achieve the desired look of each project.
* Working with a range of methods including oil, watercolour & sculpting.
* Aiding in the installation of stages in relevant areas.
Experience and Qualifications:
* Previous experience in artistry and set design.
* Ideal experience having worked on theatre, tv, events or exhibition staging.
* Experience of working in a range of methods including oil paints, watercolour, spray paint and sculpting mediums.
* Aiding in the building and developing sets and stages.
