My client is looking for an Operations manager with renewables operational experience, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role on their management team. The Solar industry is growing massively in the UK as we are now heading straight for net-zero. Leadership, organisation, and technical understanding will all be skills required to be chosen for this role. Knowledge of the industry and a technical background combined with management experience is highly sought after.
The Role:
Coordinate and manage multiple Solar PV projects
from point of Sales through to completion. In accordance with the outlined specifications, timetable, and cost.
Liaise with top management and influence strategic direction for operational activity.
Ensure correct materials are procured and delivered to site- build relationships with
suppliers.
Formulate and implement departmental and organisational policies and procedures to maximise output.
Plan the efficient and effective use of available labour, both in-house and subcontractors.
Monitor performance of departments involved with operations.
Monitor, manage, and improve the efficiency of support services such as IT, HR, and finance.
Manage customer support including in sales, design, and aftercare services
