Role

Our client based in Stoke on Trent, a five minute walk from Staffordshire University are seeking a talented and creative Graduate Graphic Designer/Web Designer to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing various visual and digital media, including websites, social media graphics, logos, and marketing materials.

The Graduate Graphic Designer/Web Designer will be expected to have a deep understanding of design principles and be able to work collaboratively with other designers, developers, and project managers.

Duties and responsibilities

* Design and develop various visual and digital media, including websites, social media graphics, logos, and marketing materials.

* Collaborate with other designers, developers, and project managers to develop creative solutions that meet business needs.

* Create wireframes and prototypes for new websites and web applications.

* Develop and implement design standards and guidelines.

* Ensure that all design work meets requirements, industry standards, and is accessible to all users.

* Maintain accurate records of design specifications and project timelines.

* Stay up-to-date with emerging design trends and technologies.

Skills and experience

* Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, or related field.

* Strong design portfolio that showcases a range of design skills and techniques.

* Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.).

* Experience with web design tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XDKnowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

* Strong written and verbal communication skills.

* Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Familiarity with:

* Content management systems (CMS).

* UX design best practices and an understanding of responsive design.
